Details
  • Guests are required to report at Sahastradhara Helidrome by 0600 hrs. Upon arrival, our ground crew will warmly receive the guests and provide a detailed briefing about the tour and safety procedures before boarding the helicopter.
  • After landing at Ghangaria, our team will be present to assist the passengers. From here, the onward journey to Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib begins.
  • The trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib is approximately 6 km one way and typically takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on individual pace and weather conditions. As Hemkund Sahib is situated at a very high altitude of approximately 15,200 feet, guests are strongly advised to hire a pony or palki for a more comfortable and safer ascent.
  • After completing darshan, guests must begin their return journey to Ghangaria no later than 1230 hrs. The descent generally takes about 2 to 3 hours.
  • Upon arrival back at Ghangaria, the helicopter will be ready for departure to Sahastradhara by 1500 hrs.
  • On reaching Sahastradhara Helidrome, our team will receive and welcome the guests. This marks the conclusion of the Hemkund Sahib helicopter tour.
